Terms of Service

General

  • By commissioning me, you agree to these terms.

  • I only create original character artwork — no fanart or copyrighted characters.

  • I reserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason.

  • These terms may be updated at any time, but changes will not apply to existing commissions.

Payment

  • Prices are listed in USD and payments are made via PayPal only.

  • Payment is required in full after the line work stage. I will not continue beyond line work until payment is received.

  • Complexity, additional details, or extras may require an additional fee.

Process & Revisions

  • I will provide at least two revision opportunities, depending on complexity.

  • Deadlines will be determined solely by me. Clients cannot request rush deadlines.

  • I will send progress updates (sketch/line work). Work will pause until payment is received after line work.

Rights & Usage

  • Clients own full rights to their commissioned artwork under these conditions:

  1. You may use, share, and distribute your commissioned art with proper credit to me, AroTheRoo/ @sudoaro18. Using them in conversational setting as emojis/emotes/stickers are exempt but you still cannot take credit for my work.

  2. You may not use my art for NFTs, AI training, or resale under any circumstances.

  3. You may not modify the emotes yourself, please contact me if you need additional variants of your character, we will work something out.

  • Clients may request their commission remain private, but this must be specified in advance.

  • I retain the right to display the artwork in my portfolio or on social media, unless privacy is requested.

Refunds & Cancellations

  • If you cancel before I begin, you will receive a full refund.

  • If you cancel after work has begun, you will receive a 50% refund of the total cost.

  • If I must cancel the project for any reason, you will receive a full refund.

Communication & Requirements

  • All communication will be handled via Discord.

  • You must provide clear reference images of your character before I begin.

  • Written descriptions alone are not sufficient — references are required.

Edits After Completion

  • Edits after the artwork is completed are available at 25% of the original commission cost.
